Our Clubhouse & Porch
The clubhouse was designed in 1927 by then famous New York City architect Pliny Rogers. The unique aspect of the design is that it consists of several buildings, rather than the large mansion type structures of that era. The clubhouse was built to overlook the gorge of the Poestenkill Creek, the 18th hole of the golf course and the picturesque hills of Brunswick and the Grafton Mountain.
The porch, unlike any other, is our members’ favorite area of the clubhouse. Whether it is enjoying a meal while watching golfers complete their rounds, dancing the night away at a club event or wedding reception, or participating in a golf outing, the porch is the perfect setting. Recent restorations of the clubhouse include new furnishings, new flooring and wall treatments, an interior redesign of the golf shop and updated porch and pool furniture.
